Pikake Earrings

Small gold hoop earrings with a Hawaiian pikake bead — a little piece of the islands to wear every day. I discovered the pikake bead on a trip to Maui, and fell in love! I wanted to bring some of Hawaii into my jewelry collection.

Pikake is the Hawaiian name for jasmine, one of the most beloved flowers in Hawaiian culture — worn in leis, given as gifts, and woven into celebrations. These earrings carry that same spirit. The soft white mother-of-pearl bead paired with warm 14K gold filled is simple, beautiful, and quietly meaningful for anyone who loves Hawaii or has a piece of their heart there.

In Hawaii, pikake blossoms are strung into leis and given to those who are deeply loved. Named for the peacock by Princess Kaiulanai, who adored both the bird and the flower, pikake carries generations of aloha in its petals. These earrings are a small, wearable nod to that tradition. They are beautiful, fragrant, and full of meaning.
