A handstamped cherry blossom necklace in 14K gold filled — for the March girl, and everyone who stops walking when the blossoms come out.
There is something about a cherry blossom that feels urgent and gentle at the same time. They're only here for two weeks, and then they're gone before you know it. They are beautiful precisely because they don't last, and they encourage you to stop and soak in their beauty as much as you can!
Hand-drawn and individually stamped in our small studio.

✦ The Meaning
In Japan the cherry blossom — sakura — is a national symbol of renewal, the beauty of impermanence, and the courage it takes to bloom anyway knowing it won't last. The Japanese have a phrase for it: "mono no aware," which means the bittersweet awareness that beautiful things are fleeting. For March, the first real month of spring, it couldn't be more fitting.
✦ Care Instructions
Gold filled jewelry is safe to wear in water and will not tarnish with normal wear. Store in a cool dry place and avoid harsh chemicals.
